Abby (Staub) Rhodes is a 20-something painter, muralist and printmaker. Her prints are iterations of her large scale paintings, which explore the concept of embodiment through figurative abstraction and anatomical references. With this concept in mind she uses the creative process to mediate the introspective awareness and physical experience of being a body. The consequent imagery depicts where she finds ease and at times, dis-ease within.
